Palm Jumeirah

The Palm Jumeirah, another world-famous and award-winning man-made island has a total area of 560 hectares and was developed by Nakheel. Date palms - the national plant of the UAE - shape Palm Jumeirah, a landmark of engineering with high-end residences, retail, and leisure facilities in three main areas - the trunk, crescent, and fronds.

Palm Jumeirah is a series of artificial islands in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, which are created by reclaiming land in the Persian Gulf. It is part of an entire group of developments, the Palm Islands, including Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira. It sure has lengthened Dubai's shoreline by approximately 520 kilometres (325 miles).

As of 2016, 10,500 people live here. The emirate of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, is located on the Jumeirah coast. A reduction in human activity during the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020 contributed to an increase in wildlife, such as dolphins, around The Palm Jumeirah.
